Research:Laser Irradiation to
Accelerate/ Modulate Cutaneous Wound Healing.
The lab has shown that mild dermal irradiation with a
laser preconditioning (prior to injury) can improve wound
healing characteristics in animal models. I am working to
translate this research into tissue conditioning models
(laser after wound exists), and also to situations of
impaired wound healing, especially diabetic ulcers, to aid
the wound healing process.
Personal Bio:
I enjoy practicing kung-fu, watching bad
horror movies, running, playing guitar, and computer
building.
